On the right bank of the Rhône, a terroir that almost disappeared after the war is being reborn: Condrieu. It has found its natural home on steeply sloping terraces overlooking the majestic river. High on the hillsides, poor, acidic granite soils, formed over centuries, dictate the conditions for the vines. Here, the vines express themselves with restraint yet splendour. Although yields are naturally low, the grapes possess remarkable aromatic concentration.
La Galopine is a bright and beautifully balanced expression of Viognier. A generous yet precise wine, it weaves together aromatic richness, mineral freshness, and natural elegance, capturing the true character of the Condrieu terroir.
