Châteauneuf-du-Pape

The Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation extends across five communes in the Vaucluse department, on the left bank of the Rhône River, in close proximity to the river itself. The appellation area is characterized by soils covered with large rounded pebbles mixed with red clay, as well as sandy and sandstone soils.

The Mediterranean climate is influenced by the Mistral, a cold, dry wind blowing from the north, which promotes sunshine and reduces rainfall. Grenache Noir is the dominant grape variety in the vineyard.

The red wines, particularly well suited for aging, are powerful and structured, with great complexity and a long aromatic finish.
