There are places shaped by nature’s mysteries, where small miracles occur. One such place is Hermitage, the legendary hill, modest in scale but exceptional in character, and the only listed natural site in the Rhône Valley. It is believed to be one of the oldest vineyards in the world.

Formed by geological shifts during the Palaeozoic era, its granitic soils are peppered with large, friable crystals and gradually weathered into a light sand resting directly on the bedrock. They provide the vines with an exceptional soil.

For nearly two centuries, the bond between Hermitage and our Maison has been unbreakable – deeply rooted, almost visceral. Through our wines, we want to offer a complete interpretation of the hill, true to its diversity, depth and contrasts.
