White

A brilliant counterpart to the Domaine des Tourettes Red, this rare white Hermitage comes from the western slope. Its blend marries the structure and breadth of Les Bessards with the fruit and freshness of Les Grandes Vignes. A true dialogue between the earth and the sky of the hillside, it is an opulent, gastronomic wine with a beautifully taut structure.

Unlike most producers in Hermitage, who craft their white wines on the clay-limestone soils of the eastern slope, we have made the bold choice to establish its white cuvée on the western side of the hill, on granitic terroirs traditionally reserved for Syrah.

A unique and daring expression of the great white wines of Hermitage. The cuvée conveys the full verticality of Hermitage through the singular blend of two of the hill’s finest granitic terroirs: Les Bessards and Ligne de Crête. It reveals the natural freshness and complexity of these terroirs by highlighting the aromatic bitters inherent to Marsanne.
